NorCal’s Best Beach Dives

Years ago, I gave a presentation about a far off, tropical location that included images of some very colorful nudibranchs. Afterwards, a friend asked me where they could find such critters closer to home; the answer was, of course, Monterey. Northern California’s marine life is an interesting as anywhere in the world. Yes, some very photogenic nudibranchs are found here, but there are also other colorful invertebrates, fish, and our legendary assortment of bewhiskered marine mammals.
