HOW YOU CAN HELP IMPROVE CALIFORNIA MARINE PROTECTED AREAS

When California created a network of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) 10 years ago, one requirement was that the MPAs be reviewed every decade. We are now at that junction. We will look at existing MPAs, see what’s working and what isn’t, and determine what adjustments need to be made. Input from the general public, not just special-interest groups, is key in making the process work. This seminar explains how you can make YOUR voice heard with the overall goal being getting MPAs to “work” for all of those who enjoy our ocean resources.
