COVID Notes
Honduras was one of the first countries to successfully reopen in July 2021. On the 4-acre Clark’s Cay, off the coast of Guanaja, social distancing comes naturally.
Avoiding crowds comes easy as well since we only accommodate 20 people at any one time. And all of the cabanas and suites have a separate outdoor entrance, and more than ample air circulation options with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and windows. Nearly all of our public spaces are also open to fresh air.
During the months before July when we were closed, we studied the many operational protocols suggested for the “new normal” for the hospitality industry, and trained our staff to ensure that they deliver a safe experience for our guests and themselves. Seven-night, Saturday to Saturday all-inclusive packages are $1,895.00 per person based on double occupancy including Standard Cabaña accommodations, 3 gourmet meals daily plus happy hour snacks, a standard bar package (which includes their very tasty local beer, house wine, well liquor of vodka, rum, tequila and whiskey, Happy Hour “Drink of the Day”, juice and soft drinks,) free Wi-Fi, complimentary boat transfers to and from Guanaja airport, complimentary use of kayaks and SUP’s and tours conducted by the staff. Diving includes five days with 3 dives daily and 2 dives on Friday. Tax and gratuities are not included.
