2025 Scuba Show T-Shirt Design Contest – Official Rules & Terms

1. ELIGIBILITY

The 2025 Scuba Show T-Shirt Design Contest (“Contest”) is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Minors may enter with written permission from a parent or legal guardian. This contest is void where prohibited by law.

2. HOW TO ENTER

To enter, participants must submit an original t-shirt design through the official submission form on this webpage or via email to tracy@scubashow.com by April 1. All designs must be in JPEG, PNG, PDF, or vector format and meet any additional submission guidelines outlined on the website. There is no entry fee, and no purchase is necessary to participate.

3. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

• Designs must be original and created by the entrant.

• Submissions must not include copyrighted or trademarked material unless the entrant has explicit rights to use them.

• The artwork should align with the theme of scuba diving and ocean exploration.

• Designs may be modified slightly for printing purposes.

4. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

The winning design will be selected by Scuba Show organizers. The winner will be notified via the email provided during submission by April 15. If the winner does not respond within seven (7) days, an alternate winner may be selected. All decisions made by Scuba Show are final.

5. PRIZES

One (1) winner will receive:

• A $350 cash prize

• Their design featured as the official 2025 Scuba Show t-shirt

• Two Scuba Show 2025 shirts featuring your design

• Two Scuba Show 2025 all-access passes

• California Diving News subscription

Additional runner-up prizes may be awarded at the discretion of Scuba Show organizers. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & RIGHTS

By entering, participants grant Scuba Show a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display submitted designs for promotional and commercial purposes related to the contest.

If selected as the winner, the entrant agrees to sign an agreement transferring full rights and ownership of the winning design to Scuba Show in exchange for the prize.

7. TAXES & LIABILITY

The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes related to the prize. Scuba Show assumes no responsibility for technical issues, lost or delayed submissions, or unauthorized access to entries. By participating, entrants release Scuba Show from liability for any claims, damages, or losses arising from the contest.

8. GENERAL TERMS

Scuba Show reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time. Any attempt to tamper with the contest will result in disqualification. Decisions by Scuba Show are final and binding.

9. PRIVACY POLICY

Entrants’ personal information will only be used for contest administration and will not be sold or shared with third parties.

10. SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER

This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform. By entering, participants release these platforms from all liability related to the contest.
