18 Mar 2020 Scuba Show: Coronavirus Update
The impact of coronavirus has created a wave of uncertainty throughout the world and in many of your lives. Our thoughts are with all those affected by these circumstances. I wanted to personally reach out to you to let you know that as things stand today, we are working to deliver our 33rd annual Scuba Show on May 30 and 31, 2020.
Here is where we are: At the time of this announcement, the city of Long Beach has ordered the cancellation of all events with a crowd through the month of April. Scuba Show is one month after that and while we can’t know where things will stand at the end of May, we remain hopeful that things will return to a sense of normal.
As we continue to prepare for Scuba Show, we are in communication with the convention center and monitoring advisement from the city of Long Beach, Los Angeles County and the state of California. We are guided by regard for the wellbeing of our participants and will let you know if anything changes as we approach the show.
We appreciate your support, and look forward to giving you a good show.
Sincerely,
Mark Young
