2025 SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY

The Cove – 6PM to 10 PM

The Saturday Night Party is a chance for attendees and exhibitors to mingle and celebrate a passion for scuba in a relaxed and fun setting. This year’s soiree is free to attend and just a quick walk from the exhibit hall. At the close of the show on Saturday, step outside the exhibit hall doors and go left, downstairs to the Seaside conference area. As you leave to go through the doors outside you will enter The Cove, an ocean-themed party area where we will be waiting to greet you with food trucks, cash bars, games, a raffle to raise money for a cause, live music from Woodie and the Longboards, and more. The Cove turns lovely with lighting as the sun goes down.

The highlight of the evening will be a presentation of the California Scuba Service Award to this year’s honoree, Ed Stetson.

And, of course, we’ll have awesome raffle prizes up for grabs (see the list below!).

We hope you’ll join us for an always-fun Saturday Night Party. We promise you a good time and the best company — fellow scuba lovers. We can’t wait to party with you!

Stop by the merchandise booth during the day on Saturday to get your raffle tickets early! You can also buy them for a limited time at the party. Must be present to win.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Academy of Underwater Arts (AUAS) and Sciences ZALE PARRY SCHOLARSHIP. Zale Parry is the Ambassador at Large for the AUAS. As such, AUAS honored Zale by creating and administering a scholarship in her name. The Zale Parry Scholarship, which debuted in 2006, is awarded annually to an outstanding young man or woman diver who is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate academic program or who is engaged in accredited field work in undersea exploration, marine conservation, hyperbaric medical research or diving equipment technology. The goal of the Zale Parry Scholarship is to encourage and enable future generations of divers to carry on Zale Parry’s legacy.

One of the grand prizes of the evening will be a pristine edition of Sports Illustrated that was their very first Swimsuit issue, with Zale gracing the cover. Published exactly 70 years ago, May 23, 1955, this is a signed original.
