Imagine a British Island in the middle of the warm clear Atlantic Ocean. An island with schools of dolphins and pelagics, endemic fish, seasonal aggregations of whale sharks and massive rays. This is St Helena Island, the jewel of the Atlantic Ocean, and host to some of the most remarkable scuba diving on earth. A subtropical dive destination with walls, reefs, pinnacles wrecks and schools of fish, vibrant colorful caves, swim-throughs, and marine life.
Historic St Helena is home to the French Emperor Napoleon’s grave, historic buildings and British fortresses. It is a cultural and birding holiday destination with mind-blowing hikes, tiny remote beaches, a stunning diversity of landscapes. The character of St Helena has remained largely unchanged.
Come and listen to Raf Jah talk about this amazing place, how to get there, and how best to combine St Helena with an African wildlife safari.
