Dear Scuba Show Attendees,

While the 2020 Scuba Show was physically cancelled due to COVID-19, we decided we couldn’t let the weekend pass without trying to bring some of the show into your homes! Here’s what we cooked up to help fight off the Scuba Show FOMO we’re all experiencing:

Connect with Exhibitors. (This will remain active throughout the year.) You obviously couldn’t walk the show floor this year, so we asked exhibitors to show you some of their products and services virtually. You’ll find company descriptions, great videos, contact information and even some Scuba Show specials!

You can find specific exhibitors, or at a glance you’ll be able to see who’s represented in different categories and what products or specials they’re offering. As an example, if you’re looking for your next diving destination, you can narrow the list down to travel generally, and from there to exhibitors in specific areas of the world. In the same way, you can look for gear – By manufacturer, in general for dive equipment, or more narrowly by BCDs. The same for art, apparel and jewelry, local dive retailers, certifying agencies, underwater photography, insurance providers, dive associations…and more.

New Product Showcase.  The #1 reason why people attend Scuba Show is to see the latest dive equipment and accessories. Our New Product Showcase allows you to discover and read about products, see images and watch videos of the gear in action. These are items the manufacturers were planning to present to you at the show, and while we can’t all be together in person, you can still scope out your next purchase!

Live seminars.  We sent a survey to find out what kind of seminars you’d like to see and based on the responses, we held six of the most requested seminar topics via Facebook Live. There was one session (a panel discussion) on Saturday, May 30 at 4pm PST, and five seminars on Sunday May 31 from 11am – 4pm PST. Couldn’t join us this weekend? Don’t worry – the sessions were recorded and are available on demand. And for those who tuned in live, we had prizes! We gave away 10 immersion dives (watch the video) at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and a grand prize giveaway of a fine art print by Blue Ocean Art!

Mark your calendars for next year’s Scuba Show: May 22-23, 2021!
